Where should I stay when travelling to Calgary?
Stay in Calgary’s hippest neighborhood while attending the Aspire conference. We have secured a group rate at Alt Hotel Calgary East Village, rates starting at $179 + taxes, based on availability. I’m Amy Thiessen. I work at the intersection of body, voice, & communication to help you know & express the fullness of who you are.
My mission is to help passionate & conscientious individuals express themselves with grace, confidence, & impact. By weaving together somatic techniques, mindfulness, vocal exercises, & communication skills you will unwrap the power & resonance in your full expression.
My work is about building bridges within ourselves & with each other. About finding the truth beneath the ‘shoulds’ where our authentic expression lives & sharing it from a place of sovereignty. Whether it’s finding the freedom of song, engaging in difficult dialogue, or leading a team our expression is a bridge to greater connection.
Valerie Thomas is a highly skilled business professional who brings a strategic mindset and a genuine human perspective to the development process. She has an extensive background in Marketing and Business Development and has held executive positions in various advertising and marketing agencies. During her time in the industry, Valerie managed several high-profile clients in areas such as hospitality, real estate development, event management, and retail.
After leaving the industry, Valerie pursued her passion for wellness and established a boutique wellness spa. Her goal was to create a space where experts could share their knowledge on wellness, based on science, nature, and ancient philosophies. This initiative became a successful prototype for urban wellness. As the interest in wellness grew, Valerie started consulting and offering strategic brand concepts, revenue-boosting strategies, and operational efficiency to luxury resort properties.
