About Us

As Canada’s national spa organization, Leading Spas of Canada (LSC) provides support for the development of the Canadian spa industry and the promotion of Canada as the finest spa destination in the world. Led by a dedicated Board of Directors from across the country, LSC represents the broad spectrum of the spa experience, from resort and day spas, destination and mineral springs spas to medical spas, schools and suppliers. Over 175 Association members share a commitment to a stringent set of Standards of Practice and Codes of Ethics, which distinguish them for excellence in spa services and operations in North America and in the world.

A National Member Organization working together to support and lead Canada’s spa and wellness Industry and to promote Canada as a premier spa and wellness destination.

Mandate

In achieving this Vision, the Leading Spas of Canada will be a leader in the Spa Industry by: 

• Building and sustaining a National Organization that supports its members from all regions of Canada and spa industry sectors through membership services setting mandatory member guidelines for education, standards and practices.
• Supporting professional development for its members.
• Increasing the awareness of the enjoyment and benefits of the Canadian Spa and Wellness Experience, in Canada and worldwide, through its marketing programs.
• Advocating for the Spa Industry within public and private sectors.
