Each of the Canadian Rockies Hot Springs locations provides a uniquely unforgettable soaking experience. At the Banff Upper Hot Springs you can soak in the outdoor mineral fed hot pool with a spectacular view of famous Mount Rundle. Perhaps you would rather gaze up at the awesome rock cliffs of Sinclair Canyon that surround the largest hot spring pool in Canada at the Radium Hot Springs. Or you can enjoy the remoteness and serenity of the Fiddle Valley as you take in the breathtaking view of Ashlar Ridge from one of the two hot pools at Miette Hot Springs, located 45 minutes west of the Jasper, Alberta town site. The temperature of the water is kept at around 39°C (103°F) at each facility. The hot springs in Banff and Radium are open year-round and Miette is open from early May until early October.
Pleiades Massage and Spa, which operates at the both the Radium and Banff Upper Hot Springs locations, provides a perfect complement to the mineral spa experience. Therapies include a range of massages as well as facials, wraps, steam and plunge. The name Pleiades (Play-a-deez) is the name the Greeks gave to a cluster of seven stars that are more prominent at the spring solstice. Hence, to cultures all over the world, Pleiades signify growth, regeneration and revitalization - a philosophy this spa takes to heart. |
